Healthcare Team

District Nursing

The district nursing team provide skilled nursing care in the patient's own home. They assess needs, give information and carry out appropriate nursing care. They can be contacted at the practice 9am and 4.00pm or by phoning 028 8672 3808. If the district nurse is not available, a message can be left on their answering machine and they will contact you.

Community Midwife

The community midwife provides care and advice during pregnancy and also during the postnatal period. The midwife runs an antenatal clinic every Thursday from 2.00pm - 4.00pm and can be contacted by phoning 028 8672 3800.

Health Visitor

A Health Visitor is a Registered Nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. The Health Visitor can be contacted on 028 8672 3810.
